Is it a Jag or a BMW?
It is blasphemy or a dig at BMW? We’re not sure, though Jag test drivers probably wanted to tease the spy photographers over at WorldCarFans. Their people tracked down the new Jaguar XJ concept testing out on the track, disguised as a BMW!
The redesigned 2010 XJ has remained a mystery, since the luxury vehicle is not scheduled to make it’s official appearance until July 9th (exactly one month after American car company Chrysler is shutting down almost 800 dealerships – interesting.) Still the XJ is undoubtedly Jag – with its sleek four-door appearance and huge C-pillar.
Engine options that are planned include Jag’s new supercharged 5.0-liter V8 with 510 horse power, a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 diesel and the 5.0-liter V8.
